Michelle
Madore is the 2002 World Champion in Professional Exhibition Ballroom Dance,
winning this title at the Dutch Open in Assen, Holland. As a professional
competitor, she won numerous other National and International Competitions including

Dance Festival finalist, a finalist for 2 years straight in the National Theater Arts Competition in Miami, FL where
American Smooth Technique and Adagio lift-work are combined, and the winner of the Challenge of the Continents in 2003 where
she beat the top couples from every other division of Ballroom Dance including International Latin and Standard, American
Rhythm and Smooth! While a professional, Michelle trained with the top ballroom coaches in the world including Rufus Dustin,
Pierre Dulaine, Jean Marc Genereaux, Marianne Nicole, and Eddie Simon. In competition, she regularly beat Nick Kosovich of
"Dancing With the Stars" fame and Andrei and Elena Graveline, the 2005 Overall winners at Ohio Star Ball. Michelle
has been dancing since childhood, her first love being ballet as she trained in the Royal Academy of Dance Style. She danced
professionally with the Mohawk Valley Performing Arts Company in Upstate New York while still in High School. After graduating
early, Michelle went on to dance with the Hartford Ballet, completing their Teacher Training Certification Program. She
later acquired a BS in Dance Kinesiology and Movement in 1995 and a MFA
in Dance Performance and Choreography in 1997. She is the 1997 New York Dance Olympics Best Choreography Winner and has received
grant awards to produce her choreography.
